Tips with photos usually get answered the same day. Corrections with sources land within one business day. General questions take up to three days. Specific notes with page URLs and evidence jump the queue every time. Vague or abusive messages wait longest.
Before you write
Check the relevant report first. Include dates, locations and the names of any public officials or documents involved. For corrections, send the URL and the exact passage you believe is wrong. Photos and screenshots help, but please do not send private data about other people.
Press and organizations
Send availability windows and documents, not embargo threats. We report on our schedule and publish when verification is complete. Advertising and sponsored-content pitches are declined unread, because we do not sell coverage.
